We are now looking for a Senior Lead Designer to join our expanding agency. Along with a passion and dedication to digital you will be delivery creative excellence in all of our work both internally and externally.

You will also work closely with the Studio Manager and Creative Strategist to help both individuals with delivery of creative and execution. The role requires the individual to work across the entire creative process, from pitch to final execution and launch. Working with the both the Creative and Project Management teams to enable the teams to deliver the best of what Fiora has to offer in design.

Key Responsibilities

  • As Lead Designer a key part of your role is to meet and continuously challenge the creative standards across the team. Working with the Creative Director and Studio Manager you will evaluate and reflect on the studios output, the objective will be continuous improvement. The learnings and thoughts will be communicated to the Creative team at the weekly conference call.
  • You will champion the Fiora brand, understand it and how to articulate it both internally and externally. Understand how the brand impacts our behaviour and our standards. Standards are key to Fiora. Excellence in both creativity and delivery, internally and externally is fundamental. Managing time and work loads to enable both the individual and the wider team to do the best possible work.
  • As a lead designer you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects/work. Working closely with the Creative Director and the wider creative team. As part of the creative team you will often be called upon to engage in brain storming and sharing ideas and thoughts.
  • Share your knowledge and expertise, bring on and support the wider team. Help the team to balance creative goals with commercial realities. Calm under pressure, positive and energetic.
  • Confidently interact with the wider team and understand the key objectives to each project – to help deliver on the client mission. Help the team to understand and identify the root cause and key need states to help solve our customers business issues.
  • 70/20/10 – 70% of your time should spent doing your role, 20% of your time should be spent finding ways to improve your role through training, learnings, technology and collaboration, 10% of your time exploring the role and how it might be better improved within the context of the wider business – documenting and sharing these ideas and thoughts.
  • Working with the Studio Manager you will assist in streamlining production, make efficiencies, avoid duplication. Not afraid to put a case together for better and more focussed workflows.
  • Client facing, articulate, able to reference service level agreements and business requirements. Experience of working with external creative resources and managing their output.
  • Supporting the Creative Director and helping to determine the right skill set and mix of experience across the team
  • To confidently present / discuss Fiora with your peers externally and understand our product and services, to do so in an articulate manner.
  • Provide support, guidance and development to the wider team in an inclusive collaborative environment. To encourage the adoption of the Fiora creative processes and to help educate the wider team in that process and it’s value
  • To act internally and externally as an ambassador of the business in the capacity of your role creating a positive and friendly environment encouraging the desire of others to work at the business
